Truck Festival & Convoy 2017
Dear Fellow Truckers
It is with great pride that we are hosting our 10th Annual Truck Festival.
Which means that once again it’s that time of year when we get the polish and tyre slick out and proudly show your trucks to the country.
As always we at the Mid-Ulster Truckers are looking forward to welcoming you all to our Dance, BBQ, Truck show and of course our convoy. Taking place at Lavey Termoneeny Centre Gulladuff, Maghera. It’s always a pleasure to catch up with old friends and to make some new friends too.
Our event this year will take place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May. On the Saturday the gates to our venue will open at 12pm, More parking spaces have been made available and we would encourage as many drivers as possible to come along, park up overnight in our secure yard, have a few beers as you put the finishing touches to your pride and joy and enjoy what promises to be another great nights crack at our BBQ and Dance. The BBQ will be at 8pm followed by a night of song and dance with Keltic Storm. Drivers booked in and staying on the Saturday night will receive ONE FREE ticket to the BBQ and Dance.
Sunday is of course our main day and is all about fun for the whole family and includes various stalls, and of course music by KATZ country and the one and only Richie Remo. Our show has prizes in a number of categories including best in show, Best working, People’s choice, Best fundraiser and many more. Our convoy will leave at 3.30pm and is approximately 28 miles long taking in a number of local towns.
