Truck Festival & Convoy 2018
Dear Fellow Truckers
It is with great pride that we are hosting our 11th Annual Truck Festival.
Which means that once again it’s that time of year when we get the polish and tyre slick out and proudly show your trucks to the country.
As always we at the Mid-Ulster Truckers are looking forward to welcoming you all to our Dance, Truck show and of course our convoy. Taking place at Lavey Termoneeny Centre Gulladuff, Maghera. It’s always a pleasure to catch up with old friends and to make some new friends too.
Our event this year will take place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th May. On the Saturday the gates to our venue will open at 12pm, More parking spaces have been made available and we would encourage as many drivers as possible to come along, park up overnight in our secure yard, have a few beers as you put the finishing touches to your pride and joy and enjoy what promises to be another great nights crack at our Dance. The doors will open at 9pm for our dance and fabulous Ritchie Remo and his big band will keep you dancing untill the small hours of Sunday morning. Tickets for this are £5 per driver and £10 general public, tickets are on sale NOW.
Sunday is of course our main day and is all about fun for the whole family and includes various stalls, and of course music by the up and coming OWEN MAC and also we have the one and only JOHNNY BROOKS (gareth brooks tribute) Our show has prizes in a number of categories including best in show, Best working, People’s choice, Best fundraiser and many more. Our convoy will leave at 3.30pm and is approximately 28 miles long taking in a number of local towns.
